FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of technical silicon with involvement of wastes of aluminum and silicon production. Method involves mixing dust of gas cleaning system of electrolytic production of aluminum, dust of gas cleaning of silicon production with screenings of carbon materials, particles of screening of crystalline silicon and binder, pelletization of produced charge, melting of pelletized charge in ore-thermal furnace, at that dust of electrostatic filters of silicon production is used as additional binder and strengthening additive in process of pelletization of charge.
EFFECT: invention increases strength of the pelletized charge for silicon melting.
