FIELD: production of glass ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed material contains Al2O3 and glass, their ratio being (75-85):(25-15) respectively. Mentioned above glass contains (mass % ): SiO2 38.13-45.6, TiO2 11.55-17.75, Al2O3 16.53-19.24, CaO 2.12-3.64, BaO 18.52-22.2, B2O3 1.36-3.98. Al2O3 powder and glass powder are thoroughly mixed, desired articles are prepared by thermoplastic compressing, 0.5 % of oleic acid and 16.5 % of paraffin being added. Paraffin is burnt out by slowly increasing temperature to 860-880 C, thus prepared half-finished products are calcined within 50 min at 1475-1500 C. Wear resistance thus prepared material is (2,99-4,7)·10-3 mm, its hardness is 10100-10250 MPa, specific volume resistance is (3.0-3.5)(3,0-3,5)·108 ohm·cm. ohm cm.
