FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: oil separator has housing 1 with inlet 7 and outlet 8 branch pipes and branch pipe 9 for discharging separated oil. Baffles 10 and 11 are alternately secured to opposite inclined walls 4 and 14 of the oil separator to define labyrinth passage 2. The adjacent baffles are inclined to each other and their free ends are ended with oil collecting grooves 12 having a slope. The housing is provided with chamber 3 for circulation of cooling liquid made from the side of inclined wall 4 of housing 1 along the whole labyrinth passage 2. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of oil separation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
