FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Oil separator in system of forced crankcase ventilation contains oil separating tube, inlet tube and inlet tube hole. Oil separator tube is connected by fluid medium with inlet tube and oil reservoir. Central axes of inlet tube and holes of inlet tube are located at angle from 80 to 100 degrees to central axis of oil separator tube. Inlet tube inlet enters oil separator tube between inlet and outlet of oil separator tube. Disclosed are a method of removing oil from a gas stream in a crankcase forced ventilation system and an oil separator in a forced crankcase ventilation system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in efficient removal of oil from gases without increasing losses in compact system of forced crankcase ventilation in a wide range of operating conditions of engine.
