FIELD: study of tribotechnical characteristics of materials. SUBSTANCE: friction machine is meant for reconstruction of operational random and arbitrary oscillations in spectrum of real speeds of rotation. Friction machine includes base 1, drive manufactured in the form of electric motor 2 and reduction gear 3, electromagnetic powder clutch which driving part is coupled to drive connected with one end to driven part of clutch 4. One end of shaft 5 is placed in chamber 9 with tested medium. On shaft 5 there are put in succession electromagnetic powder brake 15 which immobile part is anchored on base 1, first bearing 16 and gear wheel 6 mounted on end of additional shaft 8 located in chamber 9. Friction machine also has second bearing 17 positioned in chamber wall and additional shaft 8 installed between outer race of first bearing 16 and inner race of second bearing 17, cylinder 12 made fast to disc 14 of mobile part of powder brake 15, two gears 10 and 7 anchored on additional shaft 8 which engage toothed ring 11 and gear 6. EFFECT: improved authenticity of reconstruction of operational random and arbitrary oscillations. 1 dwg
