FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutterbar has the form of an endless chain assembled from plate cutters which are blanked from a strip. The cutters have flanges contacting with the surface of sheave grooves. Cutters are joined with one another by means of tubular bosses connected on a loose fit. The groove of the drive sheave carries shackles entering the clearance between sheave flanges. As the sheaves are rotated by transport means, cutters are set in motion and mow the grass.
