FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: meat-and-bone feedstock is loaded into charging opening of grinder casing and falls onto a rotating drum consisting of two discs 3 welded together. Secured in a staggered order on external surface of cutter drum are active cutters 7 which are arranged along the side 8 of the cutout pocket 9, are secured by bolts 10 to body of cutter drum disc by threaded hole 11 with nuts 12. Inlet and outlet sides of cutout pocket are parallel with each other and with the disc diameter. Feedstock lumps are delivered into the grinding zone under gravity and the drawing-in force of cutters and the active cutters cut off the chips. Grinding is carried out by cleaving which is more suitable for bones than cutting. Sliding cutting of meat fraction is ensured by the disclosed shape of the active cutter. The cut-off chips are accumulated in pocket 9 which is emptied after the end of grinding. EFFECT: higher productivity, reliability and lower power consumption. 3 dwg
