SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by using a device having a handle having two pivotally connected spring-loaded jaws each of which having cylindric bushings engageable with each other in joining the jaws and forming an opening which diameter is 0.5-0.8 of the embraced vein diameter. One of jaws has an external envelope made in the form of a cylindric half ring mounted in concentric relation to the half bushing. The half bushings and envelope length is 3-5 mm less than that of the coil put on the vein and the clearance between the envelope and half bushing is 0.5-1 mm greater than coil recess. EFFECT: lower risk of thrombosis complications; prevented traumatic injuries of veins; accelerated operation. 1 dwg
