FIELD: treatment of nonferrous ores. SUBSTANCE: aluminum-containing ore is treated in vertical cylindrical reactors by passing reaction solutions through ore immovable layer to produce final solution and solid residue of ore. The latter is washed with hot water, and washed solid residue is discharged. New portions of ore are charge into apparatus and treated. Reactors of open type are used for passing reaction solution through immovable ore layer. Solutions are passed through ore layer from top to bottom by multiple circulation. In so doing, hydrochemical treatment is carried out successively in two steps with separation of solutions obtained after each treatment step from solid residue, and returning reaction solution obtained at second step for treatment of new ore portion at first step. Solid residue obtained after second step is washed with hot water by spraying from atop. Method is realized in unit which consists of cylindrical reactors, tanks for receiving and circulation through each reactor of initial and intermediate solutions, tanks for preparation of reaction solution, hot water for washing ore solid residue and for receiving of final process solution. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
