FIELD: polymeric compounds. SUBSTANCE: method involves anion activated polymerization of caprolactam using alkaline catalyst in the presence of polymeric activator-prepolymer. The latter is a product of interaction of polybutadiene or butadiene copolymer with acrylonitrile containing hydroxyl-groups with aromatic diisocyanates at the ratio NCO:OH = 2:1-3 taken at concentration 15-20 wt.-%, at heating. Used prepolymer shows functionality 2 ± 0.1, and molar ratio between isocyanate group concentration and caprolactam alkaline salt is 1:2.0-2.7, respectively.
