FIELD: manufacture of constructional components. SUBSTANCE: new thermoplastic composition includes 40 to 95 parts by mass of polycarbonate, 5 to 60 parts by mass of copolymer composed of butadiene ABC-acrylonitrile and styrene, 0.13 to 0.37 parts by mass of di - (2,4 - ditert - butylphenyl) pentaerytheitylphosphite, and 0.13 to 0.37 parts by mass of di - (2,6 - ditert - butyl - 4 - methylphenyl) pentaerythrityl diphosphite or di-(2- tert - butyl - 4 - cumylphenyl) pentaerythrityl diphosphite. Polycarbonate and ABC copolymer were first allowed to dry at temperatures of 120 C and 80 C, respectively. Composition components were admixed in so-called "drunken barrel" mixer and resultant admixture was extruded at temperature of 240 to 280 C and rate of shear between 100-200 s-1. Ratio of viscosities offered by molten polycarbonate and ABC copolymer was 1.4 to 2.6. Thus prepared composition was allowed to dry at 120 C to residual moisture content of 0.02 percent by mass maximum and specimens were pressure-molded at melt temperature of 280± 5°C and mold temperature of 70 C. EFFECT: refined method of constructional materials based on thermoplastic polymer composition. 2 tbl
