Abstract RU 2037042 C1

FIELD: production of roofing materials. SUBSTANCE: tile has flat plate defined by circle in plan, with two crescent-shaped slots disposed in symmetry being removed from the circle. Wedge-shaped ribs are extending upward from slot edges and rib extends downward from circle perimeter. Wedge-shaped surface of circle rib is decreasing in height towards slots. Additional wedge-shaped stiffening rib may be made along axis of symmetry. Tile is fastened on roof by nails upon mounting of eave sheet, with tile density in row being maintained at design level. Subsequent row of tiles in arranged on previous row so that each tile of subsequent row is engaged by its ribs disposed circumferentially of flat plate with ribs in slots of two adjacent tiles of previous row. Fastening area of terminating row is covered by ridge member of known construction. EFFECT: improved quality of tiled roof, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 8 dwg
