FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: at a shut-down of the turbine after its devaporation the allowable temperature state is determined at least for the high- and medium-pressure cylinders according to the following criterion: ТC = T1×B1+T2×B2, where T1 and T2 - the differences of temperatures of the cylinders and ambient air in the point of their location; B1 and B2 - the coefficients of thermal resistance. The temperature state of the bearing is determined according to the TB criterion equal to the difference of the shell and ambient air temperatures in the point of location of the bearing, and the shaft-turning gear is disengaged and oil supply to the lubrication system is interrupted, provided TC is lower than or equals TB. When the maximum allowable temperature of even one of the shells is attained, the relative position of the insert and rotor is changed with formation of an air gap between them, the rotor zones located between the cylinders and bearing shells are additionally cooled by supplying coolant to them. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 10 cl, 2 dwg
