FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-phase electric water heater uses earthed housing 1 with three phase electrodes 2 located along the vertical axis, blow-off line 3, water supply line 4 running from the compensating tank, steam discharge and water drain lines with shutoff calves. Each electrode 2 is made of two plates fixed to each other at an angle of 120 deg and constricting at the heater bottom. Electrodes 2 are located with increasing interelectrode distances between one another and housing 1 at the heater bottom, and located in the interelectrode space are guide partitions 9 made of electrical insulating material, inclined to the central axis with an ascent from it to the housing and forming separate ducts between them and electrodes for the discharge of steam-water mixture from the interelectrode space to the housing wall space. EFFECT: enhanced capacity. 4 dwg
