FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: located in boiler screened gas duct 1 are rows of vertical tubular platens 4 with headers on the tube opposite ends. One header of platen 4 with its longitudinal axis is located perpendicularly to the gas duct axis, and the other - in parallel with the latter. Platens 4, adjacent in the row, are turned relative to each other through 180 deg. Header inlet and outlet ends 7 and 8 are brought out through the screen of gas duct 1 beyond the limits of the latter on one side. Platens 4, adjacent in the row, are shifted relative to each other in height through a distance equal to the header diameter or exceeding it. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 4 dwg
