FIELD: heating by electric discharge. SUBSTANCE: multielectrode three-phase discharge is built up by means of electrodes placed in same plane to form closed circuits looking like equilateral adjacent triangles. Electrodes of adjacent triangles are connected to power supply leads with reverse phase sequence in them. Plant may be provided by at least one more similar group of electrodes installed in planes parallel to former one. Electrodes of adjacent planes are shifted apart through 60 deg. and connected to power supply leads in parallel. This makes it possible to generate electric discharge in each triangular circuit which flows from one electrode to other in opposing directions to adjacent circuits. EFFECT: uniform distribution of discharge over entire surface of its spread, high specific power, effective shaping of discharge pattern. 2 dwg
