FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: device has at least on trolley 1 with a frame resting on a pair of wheels. The trolley is linked to a tractional mean. The frame is used to bear metering instrumentation to register spatial position of points of bearing surfaces of the way. Spring members to press wheels to guides of the way are placed on the frame too. The frame is made of parts connected to one another with telescopic method and spring- loaded to one another. One end of a pair of each hinged tie- rod being symmetric about longitudinal axis of the trolley is connected to each part. Other ends of the tie-rods positioned on each side of the trolley are hinged to one another and to a proper wheel-hinge mounted so to be turned around vertical axis.
