FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to compaction of earth embankments for motor roads, air fields, construction sites, etc. Device has frame with additional weight, working member in the form of slabs pivotally connected to each other with formation of closed circuit which embraces drums. Axles of supporting rollers are connected with frame. Also provided is additional working member. Each working member has its own vibrating mechanism and additional supporting rollers. Ones of additional supporting rollers are located above main rollers. Mounted on other additional rollers are vibrating mechanisms which are spring-biased relative to frame and pivotally connected with it by means of tie-rods. Axles of supporting rollers are rigidly connected with frame. Drums connected with drive unit are in the form of gear wheels. Working members are arranged at different side of additional weight.
