FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes monocularly treating test subject with at least four impulse irradiation sources (stimuli) having diameters of 9.0 to 10.0 mm, 22 to 2.5 mm and 1.2 to 1.0 mm at distance of 300 to 330 mm and then determining individual upper limit of excitation of color perception visual analyzer at greatest diameter of stimulus, level of actual functional status of color vision system at medium diameter of stimulus and individual starting excitation level and color perception standard at smallest diameter of stimulus. EFFECT: higher accuracy of assessment of functional status of color vision system and prompt evaluation of qualities and actual states of color perception system.
