FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely, to ophthalmology. It can be applied not only for estimation of colour vision quality in patients and tested people but also for examination of neurophysiological mechanisms of colour sensations. As light source used is two-coloured red-green light diode. Stimulation is carried out by means of tachistoscopic device - colorimeter, time of each colour exposure is reduced to 2 mcs, after which time delay between mixture components is introduced, with its increase at 5 ms step to the moment of separate perception of each colour separately and by final value of delay time, necessary for retina photoreceptors for coding first colour, is determined.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of examination of colour vision in people.
