FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes dissecting aponeurosis of musculus obliquus externus, displacing spermatic cord sideward, positioning isolated tailor's muscle against rear wall of inguinal canal with enveloping spermatic cord by sutures, suturing lower edge of tailor's muscle to ligament and its upper edge to inguinal canal upper wall muscles dissected end portion to abdomen straight muscle vagina, placing spermatic cord on tailor's muscle, and then suturing together layers of dissected aponeurosis of musculus obliquus externus abdominis above spermatic cord. EFFECT: disclosed method allows reducing rate of post-operative relapses, reliably strengthen posterior wall of inguinal canal and curtailing rate of relapses of inguinal herniae.
