FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves extracting fruits and pericarps of milk thistle with ethanol twice during 2-3 h at 35-37 C boiling down the extract and purifying with 50% ethanol solution, degreasing with carton tetrachloride. The process is continued with extracting by means of chloroform-alcohol mixture, boiling down, solving in ethanol, concentrating and grinding. EFFECT: enhanced output with increased polyoxyphenylchromanones contents. 2 tbl
