FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic tyre changer has frame 1, carriage 3 and wheel grips vertical and cross displacement mechanisms. Cross displacement mechanism is made in form of two shafts 6 with threaded holes on shaft ends and movable frames 8 with screw. Wheel grips are made in form of two pins 12 with rollers 13. Novelty is that each frame 8 with pin 12 is coupled with shaft 6 by means of its screw 9, and frame 1 has vertical tilting mechanism. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
