FIELD: hydraulic mechanized mining and processing of sapropel. SUBSTANCE: method involves mining of basic sapropel from basin bottom from water vehicle equipped with lifting device having screw pump; feeding of saprapel through pulp duct for cleaning; cleaning of saprapel from hazardous inclusions by self-cleaning screen; feeding of cleaned saprapel from intermediate vessel by means of sludge pump floating pulp-duct onto bank, where accumulating-dispensing vessel with mixer is positioned; stowing of large-sized hazardous inclusions into container; providing mechanical dehydration to moisture content of 60-80% for reducing sapropel volume by 4-8 times; feeding dehydrated saprapel to preliminary-accumulation vessel and expelled water to collection sump and further to basin through pulp-duct; packaging of saprapel into polyethylene sacks and delivering packaged saprapel to stockpile-type storage.
