FIELD: mining industry, particularly, concentration of ore containing gold and other noble and rare metals. SUBSTANCE: tailings formed at concentration mill in ore grinding with subsequent separation of concentrate of valuable components are stored in temporary hydraulic-mine dump whose volume is separated by partition into areas filled with tailings in turn. In alternate filling of area, pulp is discharged from pulp line to form above-water beach from pulp, which is continuously preserved on one part of area perimeter, and settling pond of circulating water supply system of concentration mill. After filling of area, tailings are dewatered and boundary is established between formed productive zone with high content of valuable components and nonproductive zone. Tailings are withdrawn from area. In so doing, tailings from nonproductive zone in dewatered state are placed to long-tern storage dump, and tailings from productive zone are ground with subsequent separation from then of additional concentrate of valuable components. EFFECT: higher concentration efficiency of ore mineral owing to final withdrawal of valuable components from hydraulic-mine dumps and reduced contamination of environment. 5 cl, 4 dwg
