FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: for fuller utilization of harvest, all plants are mown down, then earheads are rolled to sever the grains, stalks are crushed by rolling into small pieces of preset length and split. The obtained heap is loaded and carried to stationary threshing station, handling earheads separately from stalks. When harvesting lodged plants, the entire heap is loaded and transported to stationary threshing station. Here the heap is delivered by batcher to separator where small fraction is separated and directed for methane fermenting. The coarse fraction is delivered for production of compost with the use of aerobic process. Methane fermenting is conducted with the use of "polluted" air discharged from an animal house. Compost is prepared in cylindrical storage containers using aerobic-anaerobic process. This reduces power consumption of entire technological process from harvesting stage to utilization of straw and chaff and produces better organic fertilizer and byproducts such as biological gas and ammonia liquor.
