FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: isolation chamber has a bottom base in the form of U-shaped box connected to which are U-shaped end walls interconnected in the upper part by parallel plates. One of the box side walls has a hole of 2.8 3.0 mm dia for connecting a cage with queen bee and a hole of 8 15 mm dia for introducing the queen bee, closed with a plug. Said holes are spaced at 11 25 mm from each other. One of the side walls of the box is provided with an entrance slot with an opening 7 9 mm high and 50 70 mm long fitted with a replaceable entrance platform and a cover while the end part of the box has an entrance slot 10 30 mm long. The side walls of the isolation chamber have the form of replaceable plates with holes. The relation of the total area S₂ of holes to the area S₁ of the side walls is 0,05 ≅ [(S₂-S₁)/S₂]≅ 1.
