FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: honeycomb body is a rectangular frame made up of an upper strap, a lower strap, and side posts. Internal side of straps is provided along the body axis of symmetry with slots having bases carrying bowls on both sides and accommodating honeycomb sections. Face surfaces of honeycomb sections are covered by insulating covers having rectangular holes and secured on both sides of the body. Adjustable sowing area limiter is disposed between the insulating covers and honeycomb sections. The base has the form of a flat plate with conical holes, each provided at one side with a bowl-holding rim. The bowl is made up as a cup whose bottom is provided with a pin. The cup, bottom and pin are of a conical shape. The bowl cup is secured on the boss of a hole in the honeycomb section while its pin snaps into the corresponding hole in the base. The relation of the diameter of the conical hollow in the section of a honeycomb plate at its face side to its depth is 0,21 ≅d₁/h₁≅ 3,6. The cylindrical boss surrounding each hole in the honeycomb section is chamfered at the top. Intersection of the boss chamfered lines forms an angle of 110-120 deg. Relation of the boss hole diameter d₂ to the height h₂ of its wall is 0,48 ≅d₂/h₂≅ 2,3. Relation of cup bottom diameter d₃ to diameter d₄ of the inlet hole of the cup is 0,91≅ d₃/d₄≅ 1,2. The conicity angle of the bottom is 115-130 deg. Relation of pin base diameter d₅ to diameter d₆ of its top is 0,78≅ d₅/d₆≅ 1,3. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
