FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: frame comprises upper mounting bar with shoulders, lower plank and intermediate laths interconnected by side plates. Intermediate laths are installed on side plates by means of cylindrical joints with a provision for the laths to turn around their axes of symmetry. The distance h1 between joint axes varies from 57 to 63 mm and the number of laths to suit the length l1 of the side plate is determined by the relation 1≅ l1/h≅ 4.. The bar, laths and planks have holes of 2.0-3.1 mm dia for fastening bowls underneath the bar and laths, and the cages, on top of the laths and plank. The center distances between holes vary from 16 to 20 mm. The maximum cross-sectional dimension d2 of laths is connected with 1,1≅ h1/d2≅ 1,4 by the relation h1. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
