FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: die has container with plunger, elastic matrix and locking mechanism. Container has closed working chamber and is provided with axial joint line for placing workpiece and replaceable associated equipment into working chamber. Locking mechanism is made in the form of casing connected with press cross-piece. Introduction of die for manufacturing large-sized parts allows working hours for manufacture of parts to be reduced by 1.5-2 times, cost of production of associated equipment to be reduced by 5-7 times, metal usage to be reduced by 1.5 times. EFFECT: simplified mechanism for retaining container against axial displacement in the process of manufacturing large-sized parts by elastic medium. 1 dwg
