FIELD: metal pressure forming. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of shaping variable-height corrugations on portions of a flange, being adjacent to zones of maximum curvature of a wall of a part in a plan view, in such a way, that height values of the corrugations are being increased to an outer side of the flange and axis of the corrugations are being placed normally relative to a line tangent to a hollow portion contour; then performing drawing operation of the hollow portion with simultaneous straightening of the corrugations of the flange; using a blank, being rectangular in the plan view, and making the part by two transitions with formation of the corrugations in angular zones of the flange at the first transition and performing a drawing of the hollow portion with simultaneous straightening of the corrugations at the second transition. EFFECT: enhanced quality of parts due to provision of possibility of redistribution of the blank material along a perimeter of the flange towards a zone, being adjacent to a place of the part, having maximum depth. 1 cl, 3 dwg
