FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: plant for continuous casting of metals includes a crystallizer; supporting and guiding rollers, arranged in a of a secondary cooling; a drawing and straight device, a gas cutter, a run-off roller table, a seed and a self-propelled car with driven apparatus for removing ingots from the run-off roller table and for storing the seed. In order to increase an efficiency of plant for metal continuous casting due to using of cars for taking and storing seeds and for removing ingots from the run-off roller tables, the self-propelled car may move in cross direction relative to a manufacturing axis of the plant, at it is provided by clamping levers, that may perform lengthwise and cross movements relative to the roller table. These levers have different height along a length of their working surfaces, and they have length values, consisting (2.2-3) values of a width of the seed.
