FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for metal continuous casting has a rectilinear mold, a mechanism for reciprocation motion of the mold, a vertical rectilinear roller section, secured to a lower end of the mold, further arranged a curvilinear unbending roller section and a horizontal roller section, rollers, mounted in bearing cases, and frames, supporting the bearing cases. The vertical rectilinear section is provided by additional overhead rollers, arranged in C-shaped guides, provided in a beginning portion of the frame of the curvilinear bending section with possibility of motion in them. Each case of bearing of the additional rollers is provided by pair runners, mounted on rotation axles. Axles of the runners of adjacent cases of the additional rollers are mutually connected in pairs and also with the bearing of the last roller on the vertical rectilinear section with the aid of hinged tie rods. The additional rollers are spaced from the curvilinear bending section by a distance, equal to (0.25-0.5) of its length. The invention may be used in operating metal continuous plants and in newly constructed plants. EFFECT: enhanced quality of continuously cast ingots. 1 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl
