FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has crystallizer, ingot supporting and guiding rollers mounted in secondary cooling zone on roller bearings. Rollers are placed within chuck bodies formed as flexible arches and are supported by two supports. Central angle between edges of flexible arch is variable along secondary cooling zone from minimum value at the beginning of cooling zone to maximum value at the end of cooling zone within the range of 30-120 C.
