FIELD: automation. SUBSTANCE: arithmetical unit of device gives constant frequency of welding pulses by consumable electrode. Frequency is simultaneously checked by short circuit sensor. Signal furnished from sensor is filtered, as a result stabilized frequency of pulses is separated which corresponds to the value set by arithmetical unit of device. Intervals of pulse repetition are stored and are furnished to energy meter input which introduces additional control signal into arithmetical unit of device. Device has controllable energy source, short circuit sensor, arc current and voltage meters, analyzer, comparison unit, phase control units, proportioner, arithmetical unit and reference value setters. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of control of welding conditions and reduced sputtering of metal. 5 cl, 5 dwg
