FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pyrotechnic composition, namely the thermite composition for the destruction of oversized pieces of rock and non-metallic building structures. Composition contains 100 parts by weight: 65.8 of potassium perchlorate, 33.2–31.2 of "PAP-2" aluminum powder and 1.0–3.0 of a technological additive in the form of tungsten disulfide, which is first mixed with the specified powder of aluminum powder to a homogeneous mixture, and then with potassium perchlorate.
EFFECT: result is an increase in the safe working life due to the preservation of low sensitivity to friction.
