FIELD: electronic engineering; intensifying brightness of picture or transfeering the latter to other spectral region. SUBSTANCE: electrooptical transducer has entrance and exit windows, photocathode deposited onto entrance window, phosphor screen deposited onto exit window, envelope, sealing ring for vacuum-tight joint between entrance window and envelope, electrostatic focusing electrodes, electric leads; envelope is built up of disks forming electrostatic focusing electrodes and insulators that function to isolate photocathode, electrodes, and phosphor screen; inner surface of disks forming electrostatic focusing electrodes is shaped depending on geometry of lens formed by these electrodes and is covered with metal film; mating sections of butt ends of all disks are polished and coated with metal film; disks forming envelope are fixed together and to exit window through vacuum-tight joint. EFFECT: improved conversion coefficient, resolution, and mechanical endurance of electrooptical transducer. 1 dwg
