FIELD: electric traction. SUBSTANCE: D.C. electric motor drive includes generator, two electric motors, brake resistor and four key elements. Armature windings of electric motors and first and third key elements are connected in bridge circuit. Armature winding of generator is placed into one diagonal of bridge circuit, second key element and brake resistor and fourth key element connected in series are placed into the other diagonal.
