FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has alternating current generator with two three-phase armature windings, two series excitation electric drives with armature windings and excitation windings. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced power bridge rectifiers, which are supplied by armature windings of generator, and two pairs of diodes. Input terminals of power bridge rectifiers are connected to phase inputs of corresponding armature windings of generator. Input terminals of second power bridge rectifier are connected to second terminal of armature of first electric motor and first terminal of armature of second electric motor. Input terminals of bridge rectifiers are connected to phase terminals of corresponding armature windings of generator. Second terminal of excitation winding of second electric motor is connected to second opposite-polarity terminals of pair of controlled rectifiers. Each second terminal of braking resistors is connected to first equal- polarity terminals of diodes of corresponding group, which second equal-polarity terminals are connected to phase outputs of corresponding armature winding of generator. Gates of power rectifiers are designed as diodes which are connected to diodes of said groups by their opposite-polarity terminals. EFFECT: increased reliability, increased quality of control of running modes of transport vehicle. 1 dwg
