FIELD: rail electric transport. SUBSTANCE: electrically insulating rail butt joint has fishplates 1 made of composite material with holes 3 and 4 for bushings 5. Each bushing 5 has circular fillet 6 in middle part which is arranged in hole of rail web. End parts 7 of bushing 5 are located in holes of fishplate 1. Axes of end parts 7 are displaced by outer cylindrical surfaces relative to axes of inner holes of bushings 5. Splines 12 are made on end faces of each bushing 5.
