FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: Venturi scrubber has converging tube 1 with conical insert in the form of multi-coil spiral 2 of corrugated sheet material with corrugations located across stream movement direction, neck 3, diffuser 4 and spraying jet 5. In the case spiral 2 is formed by paired sheet material. Sheets are connected to each other by peaks of corrugations and canal formed between coils is made of converging and diffusing parts. Upper edge of paired sheets has intake for liquid and peaks of corrugations, that form necks 3 of canals, have injection holes. EFFECT: increased quality of wet purification of gasses. 4 dwg
