FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to environmentally clean methods and devices for combustion of solid wastes, including those containing chlorine-organic components, with guaranteed suppression of dioxins formed in utilisation products. A combustion method of solid wastes consists in combustion of wastes in a furnace, afterburning of gaseous products of incomplete combustion of wastes by supplying to the afterburning zone of high-calorific combustible components (gas, liquid) and air, with further abrupt cooling of combustion products in an abrupt cooling unit by supplying cooling liquid in a film-type stream mode both to peripheral and to central zones of afterburning product flow. A device implementing the above method consists of a chamber furnace, a waste gas outlet duct, an afterburner with a supply system to it of combustible components (gas, liquid) and air, an abrupt cooling unit of afterburning products and a separator for collection of fine solid fractions; besides, the afterburner of the abrupt cooling unit and the separator form a vertical line, thus providing flue gas supply in a downward direction. The abrupt cooling unit represents a confuser-diffuser section, along the axis of which there located is a shaped central body, through a drained surface of the upper part of which and the drained surface of the confuser there supplied is cooling liquid in the film-type mode for cooling of afterburning products, and the central body itself is located downstream of flue gas relative to a neck of the confuser-diffuser section. Concrete positioning of the central body is determined by gas temperature at the afterburning chamber outlet, by their second flow rate and content of chlorine-containing components in combustible solid wastes.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing probability of secondary formation of dioxins at heat treatment of chlorine-containing solid waste.
