FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: to simplify design, used in suspension are similar leaf springs whose front ends are hinge-connected by pins supports rigidly secured on frame, and rear ends are installed to slide relative to retainers rigidly connected with frame. To decrease longitudinal shifting forces between springs and axles, front and rear springs are arranged horizontally in levels differing in height, with adjacent ends overlapping by value determined by difference between spring base and axle-to-axle distance. EFFECT: simplified design of vehicle, decreased longitudinal shifting forces, provision of optimum parameters of suspension. 2 dwg
