FIELD: aluminum production. SUBSTANCE: method for anode transposition in aluminum electrolyzer includes rotation of spindle in channel of the anode using threaded spindle/anode connection. Spindle threads are turned into teeth. Anode channel is smooth with thread cut with edges of teeth in the process of spindle rotation. Anode device of aluminum electrolyzer includes packet of carbon blocks installed one over another with common vertical channels, and spindles located in the channels. Lower ends of the spindles have expansions with thread. Upper part of each channel is cylindrical. Thread profile height of the spindle in upper part of the expansion increases along the spindle from top to bottom. And spindle thread winds are cut through with split oriented along the spindle. Thread in lower part of the expansion has constant outer diameter along the spindle. Packet spindles are connected to common driven shaft. A housing is put on free-of-thread spindle part. The housing is made of a strip bending around the spindle. Channels are plugged from bottom. The plugs are formed with carbon chips. Drive shaft of the spindle is connected to electric motor through worm gear. The motor is installed inside hollow vertical rod. EFFECT: high productivity. 12 cl, 15 dwg
