FIELD: locks. SUBSTANCE: lock with latch comprises a casing with a hole to receive a part to be fastened, a latch accommodated in the casing, a lever and a locking member connected therewith. The hole is located in the upper part of the casing with a provision for direct action of the part being fastened on the lever. The latch has a handle which is capable of linear motion in the longitudinal slot of the casing, and a member for engagement with the locking member. The lever may have a rigidly-connected spring-loaded support part. The lock casing may accommodate a stop capable of acting on the moving lever. To apply the lock, the latch is moved by the handle along the longitudinal slot of the casing, the locking member enters the latch engaging member thus fixing said latch. The part to be fastened is inserted into the lock hole and brings pressure to bear on the lever. The locking member of the lever comes out of the latch engaging member, the spring-loaded latch moves, closes the hole and thus closes the lock. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
