The drum interior, radially from the center to the periphery, is separated into equal sections by longitudinal partitions; each section accommodates a changeable shredder, which presents a set of knives placed in rows along the drum generating line at angles to its surface; the edges of the knives in each row following in the direction opposite to the sense of rotation of the drum project opposite to the sense of rotation of the drum project over the drum surface in radial direction relative to the edge of the knives of the previous row by the value of the shredding thickness.
