FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: ring saw uses a casing with seats accommodating inserted cutter tools with radial and tangential under-cuts and screw fastening. Each seat is inclined towards the saw center at an angle of 45 deg between the radius and secant line passing through the center of the screw fastening. Each cutter tool has four teeth and is made as a rectangular parallelepiped with a central hole, which serves as the center of rotation symmetry, and two cutouts (cavities), with the second-order axis of rotation symmetry; the radius of the cutouts (cavities) does not exceed a half of the cutter tool width, and the cutter tool length does not exceed its doubled width. EFFECT: reduced labour content in service, simplified design and enhanced operate reliability of the saw. 2 dwg
