FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: head comprises body and cutter. Note here that said body represents a ball with rotational axis aligned with that of the head and that body outer surface are provided with through radial grooves. Each cutting tool consists of working part with main, face and additional cutting edges and fastening part to secure each cutting tool in said radial groove, parallel with head rotational axis. Note also that cross points of curves whereon cutting tool main and face cutting edges are located stay at equal distance from the head rotational axis and in one plane perpendicular to the latter. Main cutting edge of each cutting tool is arranged to make main angle measured between main cutting edge and straight line perpendicular to head rotational axis equal to 90°. External angle φ1 between auxiliary cutting edge of each cutting tool and straight line perpendicular to head rotational axis is determined by the following inequality: 90°-α≤Φ1≤90°, where α is gearing engagement angle. Working part of each cutting tool features cutting tool top width obeying above inequality.
