Abstract RU 2042081 C1

FIELD: direct heating of current-carrying liquids. SUBSTANCE: electric water heater has hermetically sealed housing accommodating electrodes made in form of multiplate pack connected to single- phase voltage source and made up of alternating zero and phase electrodes. Number of phase electrodes is even. Phase electrodes are nested in zero electrodes whose number is greater by one. Area of middle zero electrode is two-fold less than that of other electrodes, and distance between electrodes is not less than 18 mm. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 2 dwg
