RECEIVING HYDRO-ACOUSTIC AERIAL WITH BEAM DIRECTIONAL PATTERN AND SYSTEM FOR ENERGIZING ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT OF THE AERIAL Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2042147 C1

FIELD: hydraulic acoustics. SUBSTANCE: sequence of hydrophones (chain) in linear hydro-acoustic aerial is supplemented by sequence (circuit) of hydro-acoustic irradiators. The latters are arranged with the same pitch, as for hydrophones. Acoustic wave acts on hydrophones of the circuit till certain time moment and certain direction. Signals which have been received from outputs of hydrophones (from the first one to next to the last), are re-radiated at their carrier frequency. For the purpose, the hydro-acoustic aerial is provided with special units for preliminary signal processing. As a result, all the signals from separate hydrophones may be summed at the same time and at the same frequency independent on sound speed in real pond. Electronic units power system is used for tracing changes in hydro-physical parameters of the ponds. The units serve for contact-free transmission of electric energy to power inductors of all electric units of hydro-acoustic aerial. Power system has cable-stub, which is connected with generator and power amplifier, additional three-winding indicator. Two windings of the indicator are shunted by capacitors to form frequency discriminator, which tunes generator frequency in resonance with consumers power inductors. Signal from the third winding enters inputs, which control output voltage of the generator of pulse stabilizer and feeding power amplifier. As a result, current in cable-stub is sustained such a level, that voltage of consumers power inductor is kept permanent at constant efficiency independent on changes in environment, load and other de-stabilizing factors. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation. 2 cl, 5 cl, 6 dwg
